Privacy Policy

TimeTruth ("the App") is published by Amy Palmer ("we," "us"). This policy explains how the App handles your information.

The short version

Your logs and content

Everything you enter in the App — time blocks, tags, goals, plans, playbooks, habits, settings — is stored in a local database on your device only. It is never transmitted to us or to any third party. We could not read your entries if we wanted to.

Trial, subscription, and purchase data

An active subscription (TimeTruth Pro) is required to use the App. New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial through the App Store; after the trial, the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled.

• RevenueCat, our subscription management partner, processes limited data for all users of the App in order to determine trial and subscription status: an anonymous app-generated identifier, basic device information, and — if you subscribe — purchase and transaction information (such as product purchased, purchase date, renewal status). RevenueCat never receives your time logs or any content you enter in the App. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Apple processes subscription payments through your Apple account under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

This data is used solely to provide and manage your trial and subscription (for example, unlocking the App and restoring purchases). It is not used for advertising and is not sold.

Information we do not collect

Beyond the subscription data described above, the App does not collect analytics, usage tracking, advertising identifiers, crash reports, location data, contacts, or any other personal information. Your logs never leave your device.

Device backups

Your App data is included in your device's standard backup (such as iCloud Backup or a computer backup) according to your device settings. These backups are managed by Apple under Apple's own privacy practices and are encrypted and controlled by you. We have no access to your backups.

Data you choose to export

The App includes an optional backup feature that generates a file of your data. If you use it, the file is handed to your device's share sheet, and where it goes from there (email, cloud storage, another app) is entirely your choice. We never receive a copy.

Notifications

Check-in notifications are scheduled locally on your device by the operating system. No push notification service is used, and no notification content ever leaves your device.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Deleting your data

You can delete all App data at any time using the "Delete all data" option in Settings, or by deleting the App from your device. Because we hold no copy of your logs, deletion on your device is complete. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their respective policies; cancelling your subscription can be done anytime in your Apple account settings.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the App changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and note the new effective date before those changes take effect.
